CEG CONFERENCE

CIAC AND CEG CO-ORGANIZE CONFERENCE ” THE FACES OF EXILE”

CIAC and the Center for Galician Studies (UAlg), in collaboration with the Center for Galician Studies (CEG) of the University of Warsaw (UW), organize the conference The Faces of Exile, with the intervention of CIAC researcher Professor María Jesús Botana Vilar. The conference will take place next Wednesday, 10 May 2023, at 16h00 (17h00 SP/PL) via Zoom.

The faces of Exile aims to commemorate people who, n though exiled, continued to work from their host countries to keep the Galician language and culture alive.

Maria Jesús presents the communication “the voices of Galician art in exile” and Claudia Mariño Gómes (University of Warsaw) presents “the role of exiled people in the restructuring of the Galician fabric”.

Participation in the event is free of charge and grants a certificate, upon registration in . The conference will be held online via Zoom.
