International Congress

Sandra Boto and Pedro Ferré are members of the scientific committee of the VI International Congress of the Romancero.

The call for papers for the 6th International Congress of the Romancero is now available. This congress will take place on the 25th, 26th and 27th November 2019, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. This initiative is aligned with several other activities organized by the Ramón Menéndez Pidal Foundation for the biennium 2018-2019, as a tribute to the figure of Ramón Menéndez Pidal.

The CIAC researchers, Sandra Boto and Pedro Ferré, coordinators of the project romanceiro.pt, which has been involved in safeguarding and promoting the archive of the portuguese romanceiro, are part of the scientific committee of this event, whose objective is to promote a meeting beetween specialists of this area of research, so that new perspectives of documentation, edition and study of the romanceiro can be discussed.
