THE BOOK OF ABSTRACTS FOR CYPET SYMPOSIUM IS ALREADY AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

The book of abstracts for the Symposium Cyberperformance is already available for download. The event takes place on 29 e 30 June 2023, in Rooms 0.9 and 0.10 of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, University of Algarve – Campus Gambelas.

Symposium Cyberperformance: Artistic and Pedagogical Practices presents the results of project CyPet (Development of a new pedagogical model for teaching cyberperformance in higher education), carried out by CIAC by researchers of the University of the Algarve, University Institute of Maia, and the Open University of Lisbon.

The symposium will also insclude the presentation of cyberperformances developed as part of the project, namely Colliding Interferences, by research group Utterings; Ophilia, by Cy-Collab; Pátria, by Rosimária Sapucaia; and Aretusa Vox, by Juliana Wexel.

Project CyPet was carried out from January 2022 to June 2023 and was financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology. This project, which was coordinated by Professor Mirian Tavares and developed by CIAC researchers, aims to explore the theories and practices of cyberperformance from the creative, performative, and communication perspectives. The project’s objective is to develop a pedagogical model for the inclusion of cyberperformance in higher education curricula.
