ROUND TABLE ON DIGITAL LITERACY IS PLANNED FOR TODAY 

The 10th Doctoral Reunion in Media-Digital Art is almost coming to an end. The program for the fourth day of the event includes a conference on Critical Digital Humanities and a round table on Digital literacy.

10H00 – Conference Critical Digital Humanities with Sandra Boto

Contrary to what the title of this conference may suggest, this talk will not defend a rejection of the use of computational methods applied to the study of the Humanities and the Arts. Rather, it argues for a need for a permanent critical review of a field, that of Digital Humanities.

11H30 – Round Table – Digital Literacy

Round table dedicated to digital literacy and its social impacts and implications, covering the inclusion of disadvantaged people in the labor market, thus responding to today’s societal challenges. Topics related to the effectiveness of innovative resources and methodologies, applied to empirical scenarios, as well as practices, resources, methods, links and correlations, in the field of digital literacy will also be addressed.
