EXHIBITION OF VISUAL ARTS FINALISTS OPENS ON 17TH JUNE
Tomorrow (17th June), between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, Telhados de Vidro [The Glass Roofs] exhibition opens at the Convento de Santo António, in Loulé. This is an exhibition of the artistic works of the final year students of the Degree in Visual Arts, from Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, UAlg.
Confined for long periods, without access to the facilities where they normally develop their work and deprived of direct contact with colleagues and teachers, the young artists had to rethink and adapt their practice. At the end of their study cycle, these students share their creations, concerns and dreams with the community.
Telhados de Vidro [The Glass Roofs] are curated by Professors of the Visual Arts Degree, António Costa Valente, Bertílio Martins, Mirian Tavares, Pedro Cabral Santo, Rui Sanches, Susana de Medeiros, Tiago Batista and Xana. The degree offers inter and multidisciplinary training, which allows students to experience different techniques: drawing, painting. sculpture, photography, video art or digital/multimedia art.
The exhibition runs until 3rd July 2021, from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00am and 4:30pm.
