XV JORNADAS CIAC

XV JORNADAS CIAC RUN ONLINE ON 8TH AND 9TH JULY

On 8th and 9th of July, the CIAC Research Days return in an exclusively online format, adapted to the times in which we live in. The 15th edition of this event takes place via Zoom and is broadcast online on the Center’s Youtube channel, to guarantee the participation and access of all audiences.

With the purpose of celebrating the geographical diversity of the Centre, the XV Jornadas CIAC count with the presentation of projects that are being developed in the different poles (ISMAI, ESTC-IPL, UAb and IPSantarém) and with some international interventions, which reflect the multiplicity of research stays that CIAC hosts annually and which contribute to the expansion and dynamism of the Centre’s working networks.

This year, the Jornadas CIAC are also associated with the Doctorate in Digital Media-Art, dedicating the 8th July program to the Public Exams of students who will defend Investigation Capacity Assessment Exams.

The meeting motto remains: to bring researchers together for two days of learning and sharing, with presentations of projects and recent publications, problematization and discussion of methodologies, concepts and paths.

The program for the XV Jornadas CIAC is now available, with the round table dedicated to the Invitro initiative standing out; thematic panels on digital creation, research and communication; and the intervention of the director Margarida Gil, regarding the launch of the book Margarida Gil: Quatro décadas de audiovisual [Margarida Gil: Four decades of audiovisual], by CIAC researcher Ana Soares.

The event is free, open to the general public, with mandatory registration (here) and a participation certificate.
