CALL FOR FCT PH.D. RESEARCH GRANT OPEN UNTIL 31 MARCH

The opening notice and the application script for the Call for Ph.D. research grants in all scientific fields in 2023 are already available on the FCT portal. Applications run until 17h00 (Lisbon time) on 31 March 2023. This call provides for the award of 1450 doctoral scholarships, of which 400 will be allocated to a specific application line for work plans developed in non-academic entities.

The Ph.D. research grants in the general line of application are intended for candidates enrolled or who meet the necessary conditions to enroll in a cycle of studies leading to the obtaining of the academic degree of Doctor and who intend to develop research activities leading to the obtaining of that degree in any academic entity of production and dissemination of knowledge, national or international, including public and private higher education institutions, R&D units, associated laboratories, as well as other private non-profit institutions whose main object is R&D activities.
