INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM

ANTÓNIO COSTA VALENTE AT CISC’23 – INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM ON COMMUNICATION SCIENCES

The Colloque International des Sciences de la Communication [International Colloquium on Communication Sciences] takes place between 9 and 11 November 2023 at the Université Abdelmalek Essaâdi, Tétouan (Morocco). CIAC researcher António Costa Valente will be present as a member of CIAC and also as a member of the Scientific Committee.

On the 9th, at 11h45, Costa Valente participates with the communication “Webdocumental: un Espacio Audiovisual De Narrativas Interactivas”, co-authored with Lardyanne Pimentel Guimarães. On the same day, at 16h, the researcher moderates the panel “Communication interpersonal, social and artistic”.

A ceremony for the signing of a new consortium of laboratories in the field of communication will take place on the last day of the event, Saturday, the 11th, at 11h30.  CIAC will be a founding member along with other research centres from countries in the Mediterranean basin.

This first edition of the International Colloquium of Communication Sciences, CISC’23, organized under the theme “The Post-covid world and communication: state of the situation and prospects” aims to be an encounter of researchers for the exchange of scientific reflections on the state of communication since the beginning of the pandemic and a few years before that, as well as on what could  happen in the following years. The focus of interest is the plurality of perspectives from different disciplines related to communication, in particular the social sciences and the humanities, to allow a diverse reading of experience.
