SUSANA COSTA ATTENDS TRAINING SESSION BY RAN POLICY SUPPORT

On 26 and 27 April 2023, CIAC researcher Susana Costa participates in the training session Designing Online P/CVE Interventions for Younger Audiences in Dublin. This session is promoted by RAN Policy Support, a European Commission network for the awareness of radicalization, of which Susana recently became a member.

Designing Online P/CVE Interventions for Younger Audiences aims to leverage existing activities and research conducted by RAN to date on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) interventions against cutting-edge strategic communications practices in the EU and globally. Specifically, participants will learn practical frameworks to design online interventions for youth, innovative best practices and novel case studies, and practice designing interventions for new and emerging online platforms.

The goal is to directly involve members in innovations in the field of strategic communication and share new design concepts for the promotion of new interventions.

RAN Policy Support was launched in January 2021 by the European Commission as a new strand of the Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN). It aims to gather members from both the public and private sector, think tanks, academia, and civil society organizations to provide policy-makers with the best available information and analysis on P/CVE and related topics.
