ARTICLES BY CIAC RESEARCHERS PUBLISHED IN JOURNAL “NOVOS OLHARES” 

The dossier “Innovation Technologies,” from Novos Olharses – Journal of studies on reception practices to media products, features articles authored by CIAC researchers. Organized by Denize Araujo (Tuiuti University of Paraná, Brazil) and co-edited by Claudia Lambach (CIC Group) and Elisa Antunes (CIAC), the dossier brings together texts by researchers from Brazil, Portugal, Finland, Australia, Canada, Spain, and Colombia.

Focusing on innovation technologies (namely augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, Metaverse, robotic art, posthumanism, digital media art, and immersive environments), the dossier is a proposal of the Cinex Cluster that integrates the project approved by CNPq Universal “Memórias do Futuro: inovação midiática multimodal.”

Novos Olhares is a publication by the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo. The magazine was created in 1998 and is a reference in the publication of works focused on different aspects of audiovisual production, such as cinema, television, the internet, radio, and industrialized popular music.
