COURSE: IBERIAN DIALOGUES IN LITERATURE

CIAC CO-ORGANIZES COURSE ON IBERIAN DIALOGUES IN LITERATURE
Starting tomorrow, 25 March 2023, the course Iberian dialogues in Literature, is organized by CIAC, Casa Álvaro de Campos (CAC) and Centro de Estudos Galegos do Algarve (CEG). Running until June 2023, the course takes place every Saturday, at 17h00, in the auditorium of Escola D. Manuel I in Tavira.
Coordinated by María Jesús Botana Vilar (CIAC / CEG) and Mirian Tavares (CIAC), Iberian dialogues in Literature focus on the fertile creative exchanges and multidirectional dialogues held throughout the History of Culture (and literature in particular). Throughout this course, a selection of literary dialogues (and interacts) will be explored by experts who work in the field of Comparative Literature.
The course intends to bring light to the field of Iberian Studies; provide perspectives of approach to the literary object of comparative studies; provide tools for analysis of the literary text of the scope of macro and micro reading; and offer indications to approach the literary matter located in the interart dialogue.
In the course’s program, two lectures will be given by CIAC researchers A poesia de Buñuel pelas mãos de Cesariny, by Mirian Tavares (25 March); and O mar como expressão cultural na poesia peninsular, by Pedro Ferré (1 April).
